New Orleans Here we come!

Hello readers,

Unfortunately there will not be a fashion friday post this weekend, as I will be basking in the southern New Orleans sun!

I am super excited, 11 girls heading down to celebrate a big bachelorette. We have so many fun activities planned and I will provide you all the full scoop when I return!

I should have my post and pics up mid next week! (ohhhhh the outfits I must pack tonight, for some reason I have more shoes then nights out there? lol)

Later gators,

Hello my Fashion Friday readers,

Below are my BEST and WORST dressed celebrities on the 53rd annual Grammy Award Red Carpet.
Trend alert: Sequins, Gold, Ruffles, Sheer

Nicole Kidman looked dashing in this Jean Paul Gualtier dress with ruffle details and a sheer end. She was at the Grammy's to support her uber sexy country beau Keith Urban, but I think she stole his thunder.

Selena Gomez, looked stunning in a J Mendel shimmering gold gown. The thing I love about this dress is, its sexy, curve hugging, but it still looks quite age appropriate.

Emilio Pucci takes the red carpet by storm. What I mean is two of my best dressed looks came from this designer, he turned a gleek into a chic, and turned an idol into a star (literally with all that mirrored sequin). Lea Michelle and Jennifer Lopez rocked two very different Pucci looks. I love the slit, lace, and deep v of Lea's black Pucci ruffle gown, and appreciated Jlo's mini dress with sexy matching pumps and clutch.

Rihanna definitely turned heads in her couture Jean Paul Gualtier floor length white gown, which was sheer enough to see every bit of her. I am not sure why anyone would want to wear a dress that looks like blinds for a naked body, but clearly Rihanna did.  If you watched her actually walk the red carpet, you could tell how uncomfortable this dress really was (every two seconds her assistant was fixing it).

Nikki Minaj, I don't think I need to explain why shes on my list. I understand celebrities think they need to go the extra mile to stand out and show there individuality, but its getting old, FAST. Minaj looks like she came out of a mirage in this leopard printed over the top dress.

That's all for now folks! Stay tuned for my Oscar Best and Worst dressed, which will be the end of my red carpet Fashion Friday posts.

New Travel Site

Just thought I would share a new travel site, which hunk Ashton Kutcher is an investor in!

The site is a flight search tool that aggregates results across various leading travel websites, in order to make your pricing comparison easier!

It is that time of year again - award show after award show. What I love most about it is you get to see beautiful gowns, stunning hairstyles, and pretty make-up on your favourite celebs. For this weeks Fashion Friday I have posted my Best and Worst Dressed from the SAG awards. I really like this addition to my Fashion Friday posts, so watch out for my lists after the Grammy's and Oscars as well!

January Jones - She was on my Globes worst dressed list, and I am so happy she went back to her classy ways. She is wearing a Carolina Herrera beautiful black dress with gold lace overlay and sheer black accents. Her blue eyes pop with the white eyeliner and dramatic lashes, I also love the minimal jewelry and her side swept bangs.

Sophia Vergara - Wears an electrifying blue Roberto Cavalli gown, from the braiding on her waist to the extended trail, she looks smoking. I like that she went for a more neutral lip as her dress is quite vibrant, you wouldn't want to overdo makeup and hair. Again, because she is from Modern family and the fact I love that show - anything she wears would be considered  "best" by me. However, luckily Sophia has great taste and beautiful curves that allow her to own each outfit.

Black Swan Sisters. Both the stars of Black Swan took the red carpet by storm in their gown picks. Mila Kunis paid tribute to the late Alexander McQueen in this beautiful red number. I love how the dress is so flowy, and her tousled curls put this uber chic look over the top. While Natalie looked divine in this white Azzaro tube dress, with sequin details. She was absolutely glowing and I particularly like how this dress hugged her prego curves - its soo cute!

Jane Lynch wore an Ali Rahimi lavender gown that looked like a mini dress on top, with an extended piece on the bottom. It was was not flattering at all, and not age appropriate at all. A sleek a-line dress with less fluff would have done Jane justice.

Kate Mara in a Herve Leger nude dress. It seems very disjointed and is quite unflattering on her (and likely anyone that would wear this dress). I am not a fan of the fluffy headband which seems to have come from extra fabric of the dress.
